smkd13's Build Thread

I have been thinking of swapping to these coils, anyone happen to know the length of unloaded 890s? These are supposed to net about 4 inches of lift, correct?

Mmmm those are some sexy parts there.. I'm jelly.

I have unloaded 890s and they give right at 3"

I should have been more clear, aren't the superflex supposed to be a 4 inch coil? I have the 890s currently and will be adding some more weight back there soon. Not sure if the 890s will be up to the task.

As per the ToyTec site they are said to be 3.75 unloaded and go to 3.5 after 200lbs of weight added. I am kinda interested in what the unsprung length of the 890 an other OME 3 inches are.

Lol thanks Ripcord. I am excited to get them under my truck. Which should be Saturday :)

Got one more pick for ya that is sexy too:

I had discount tire order them in an they even matched pricing for me. Total shipped was 460 for the set. 105 a piece plus 10 for shipping each one.

And thanks bud :)

Just eyeball them and use the tallest one on the driver's side.

Ok so just got home and measured both coils on a flat surface and from my measurements, the results are as follows:

Coil marked Y/U - 18 7/8"
Coil marked Y/V - 19"

so there is a slight difference but only an 1/8 of an inch. will still be installing the longer one on drivers side. So:

Y/V = Drivers Side
Y/U = Passengers Side

Yay! LBJs and OTREs came in today. got everything i need to life this *****.
