Honestly I like them so far on the road. I will be taking it offroad Saturday so I will have a little better idea then. But so far they are good

So today I go into Lowrange to talk to them about lockers. While I was there, one of the guys that work there came up and and asked if that was my 4Runner with the toytec stickers. I said yes an then he then told me that they guy that developed the lowrange lift lives two houses down from me and said I needed some LowRange stickers lol so they have me some stickers and a LowRange keychain. and as well got my Lockright ordered for 284 out the door

Well a lockright is the same design as a spartan and Aussie. I had a spartan before in my Heep GC and it lasted great for the 45k I put on it. So nothing against spartan there. Awesome product. My buddy has a Tacoma on 35 and s/c and it lasted through four trips to Moab and has been ran three years and 60k. The pins in it broke once and all that did was lock the axle up. Replaced pins and works just like new. Just wanted to try out lockright this time and see how it fairs.

Essentially it is the same system. The main difference is that the Aussie replaces the splined spider gear to a "faced" ratchet gear. Functions are the exact same, just uses a different piece.
I will do a detail write-up on the install as I have not seen very many and would like to add my two cents to them.

Yeah i knew they were all the same older "lunchbox locker" technology, but most consider the aussie and spartan to be updated, newer, and better versions of the lockright. I have no first hand experience other than with a full Detroit and an OxLocker i have in my EB. Im glad you had good luck with the Spartan, i'm on the fence about spartan vs. aussie, looking forward to hearing about your install and how you think they compare.

From what i have read is that they actually updated the metal used in the the LockRight so that is is up to par with the Spartan. If i had the money i would get a Detroit but where as my biggest tire I will be running will be a 33" I am not too worried about having the strength as I know it will handle a 33" perfectly fine. Whichever one you end up going with you will like it no matter what and should preform just as "advertised".
As far as the install date I ordered it from LowRange this morning so i should have it hopefully mid next week. If that is the case then will most likely be doing the install next weekend or the following

and for sure bud, I will be armored up here in the next month and half so by the time moab rolls around i will be ready to have some fun for sure I don't wanna just skate by in Moab, I wanna rock Moab to the best of my truck abilities.

well went up Rattlesnake today and honestly it is a decent trail. there are some definite hard part that are 37" or more tire places but other than that it was pretty manageable.
This was that maiden voyage of the 4R and well it handled it pretty well honestly.
the superflex coils performed amazingly honestly. they stuffed well and allowed for great atriculation and kept the tires on the ground. I do have to trim my rear bumper but i dont for see me having to to shave the rear pinch welds but i will anyway when i get a rear bumper. the superflex bilstiens did amazing but i am in definite need of some bumpstops as mine don't contact at full bump.
The front BOSS coil-overs performed superbly as well. I am now running no swaybar all the time and honestly the valving is perfect. On the freeway they keep a stiff feeling like you would have a swaybar. I don't experience too much body lean around corners but honestly the lean is about the same as if i had swaybars. Once off the trail, they were amazing. full stuff was easily achieved and they stayed stiff when needed and softened up when absorbing a sudden bump. I did however find out that one of my lower control arms is bent causing the drivers side tire to be back almost a full inch.
so that will be a new one of those in my future.
I aired the Duratracs down to about 13 psi and ran them. Honestly they locked up on everything that i put them against. very very minimal slipping. I am truly impressed with these tires and very very happy i got them.
Overall i am happy about the suspension and the tires. I am looking forward to testing them in moab though Oh and definitely really going to be looking into getting a skid plate as well but here is one of the few picture that i have from the trip... more will be uploaded later when i get them.

It's crazy all the 'wheeling pics that got posted tonight in peoples threads. I guess spring fever is kicking in. I know I can't wait to get outside.

funny enough i actually don't have it yet lol I ordered it on friday but should have it in sometime at the beginning of April. Honestly, even without the locker I did pretty well. only got hung up once but that was like the first obstacle we came too. after that i got the hang of my truck and kinda have a better understand of how it will act offroad... with a locker though it would definitely make some harder lines possible
hell yea a lot of people went out this weekend. it was the first day of the year that was actually warm, kicked on the AC for the first time too lol. I haven't had AC in a car since 2007 lol and I cant wait to meet all you guys in MOAB!!!

well went and helped my buddy with his truck today. Got to get my weld on and well honestly impressed by the Lincoln 140 w/ flux-core. I just welded the new hanger brackets on my buddies truck for him. not too shabby for self taught but definitely getting better.
