TIG is nice... I was enrolled in the college course but got bumped from the class :/

that's the funky thing about the Hobart. it's EXACTLY the same thing as the 140xp. even registers as one but it's cheaper. That's what I'll get when I decide my flux core welds aren't pretty enough..

Flux core ain't pretty but there I a purpose for it. No shielding gas hence can be use when there is a breeze and honestly it get good penetration. Disadvantage is that you can't do thin stuff with it.

Nothing really fancy this time just a diff breather and change my fuel filter. Used a piece of tubing to double up a point that will rub, electrical tape and zip ties to hold it on. Plus decided to try out permatex's thread sealer.

Well reached that time to do an oil change again so here I am with the next installment of AmsOil 5w-30 Full Synthetic w/ an AmsOil filter. They say it is rated to 15k but we shall see I guess.

I just ordered my sliders from Low Range since they have their blow out sale going on. I got TG sliders for $159. Now to find someone to weld them on.... Ahem...free beverages anybody?

I have a slight connection at Ultimate 4x4 but I'm too cheap to pay people. Haha Ben and Kevin have volunteered services. Speaking of Kevin, what type of welder set up do you have, gas shield or flux core?

So after the LROR show I might be able to go for a quick run if you want. What time are you planning on stopping by the meet up at?

I am probably gonna be going early and help set up probably then head out after with them and go with the guys there.

That's pretty dry. I don't think I've ever seen that without a foot or two of water in it.

Same here.

That was my first time up there and that is what everyone has been telling me when I show them that pic

Ha ha hey all I need is a mig welder and I will weld then all nice and pretty ya know lol Kevin what kind of welder do you have. Oh yeah and I can flux-core weld them if you want. It will be just as strong honestly just not as pretty as MIG

Ha ha the diff breather cost me like 15 bucks tops. But yes you definitely need to get some sliders soon ;)

Ouch I think Locked Offroad would be cheaper than that. I have access to one welder ad have been trying to find more connections. My busy hasn't got a tank for his yet so Boo!!! Lol

Little Lincoln 100 with flux core. Like Ben said, it'll by-god glue two pieces of metal together, but it won't be pretty. :)

I've heard that you can actually get better penetration using flux core than with Mig but it just looks junky since there isn't the shielding gas. Luckily sliders are on my undercarriage so they just need to be solid instead of works of art. Haha
