I smelled something coming from my driver's side front wheel well that smelled like burning rubber/plastic, popped the hood and smelled it stronger there. poked around with a flash light since it was night time and noticed some smoke/steam coming from an area that looks like the exhaust flange on the drivers side, where the exhaust meets the headers maybe (not 100% sure).
I double checked my drive way and everything looking for fluids on the ground, and there are none. Any chance it could just be some spillage from when I changed the oil last month? I pulled the oil filter through the sidewall of the river's side wheel well (was a royal pain in the ass to get to, next time using a friends lift and getting under the truck the right way), and some oil spilled on to the frame work.
I am concerned it might be something significantly more serious. There are no fluids on the ground where I park her. It is not over heating. Oil on dipstick still looks good (level and quality wise).
I will try to get a picture as soon as I can!
