So I have the P0440 and P0446 codes. Evap leak! And I bought a smoke machine! Yay me!
This is probably a dumb question, but can I just hook it up the the green port in the engine bay (after removing the Schrader valve)? Turn it on and look for leaks?
I thought I saw that you have to turn on (or off) a valve and block off a clean air hose at the charcoal canister?
Any tips?

BTW, This is the smoke machine:
Amazon.com: STINGER Brand EVAP Smoke Machine Leak Tester with EVAP Adapter & TWO Smoke Tips. Tests EVAP, Intake, Exhaust, Vacuum Lines, Manifolds, etc - Stinger Brand is The BEST CHOICE in Smoke Testing!!!: Automotive
(Holy cow does this thing produce smoke! I was testing it and had to turn it off because I was smoking out the neighbors, lol.)
