Snorkel Question.

I have searched and heard and seen the Hilux snorkels that you have to drill a hole through fender to install.

Is there any kind of direct fit? What I heard was ARB was making one, but what do you guys use that HAVE snorkels and how hard was the install? Was it a pain? Or fairly easy and worth it. Do you get alot of road noise on the highway?

Please help me out, as I went through some pretty deep stuff this weekend and need a snorkel for next time. Thanks guys! :peep:

I have the helix one from Amazon easy to install there a write up on it. After the first gut wrenching hole cut it went smoothly. No noise.

They all need some cutting to be installed. The hilux is pretty much the best option right now. You can keep waiting for the ARB if you feel it may be released.

Second on the no noise. Each install is one of a kind though. I made several improvements to make it really solid.

You're gonna have to drill that big hole through the fender no matter what snorkel you get, even if ARB does make one for the 3rd gen.

As stated above, there's no such thing as a "no cut" snorkel. You could pop the passenger side headlight out and put a pipe straight up from the front?
