Nope. Not enough weight. I live in Michigan and I had a 1st gen that was rotted someone had a plow on and I tried to plow my shops flat parking lot once the snow built up it didn't have enough HP to push and didn't have the weight to stay straight the snow pushed it around.
 
^ That. Like trying to plow with a heep. Just not enough weight. Good for tight driveways, but not large parking lots/ long driveways/ deep snow.

You normally see them with small 6-7 foot plows because they cant handle the weight of a full 8 or 9 foot plows (makes sense, they are smaller trucks) But heavier t bars would be a good idea.

Doesn't mean you cant do it. How big is the area you are tying to plow? How much snowfall are you dealing with a year? If your in VA like your info says, A light weight plow setup on a toyota will probably do just fine.
