Damn, I had a good 10"+ last night on top of 4"+...dragging the bottom...10*F...Got stuck trying to pack down/blast out moms driveway...whoops, shovel is mandatory.
Just leaving your house right now is an adventure.
I guess its enough of a 'snow drive' for everyone?

Time for a

Yeah, we've been getting some snow lately. Been debating if I should buy a set of chains for the 4Runner, she does pretty good in the show; it's the icier stuff that seems to get me in trouble these days. :P

I might be down to join. Let me know if you pull a run together...

Been all over the place for work, but back now! Have to go to Cali in the next 10 days or so, otherwise around.

This sounds great. I had to drive to and from Boise, so bought chains (serious, old-school truck chains) to fit my new tires. It might be fun to try them out!

With a heads up, I would be up for some snow play. Maybe on a Saturday? Also depends on the passes through. I would probably get a hotel or Airbnb since doing the passes at this time of year adds so much driving time.

I got a spare axle and tool kit in the 4TR now! When I was in Bend for New years I shattered my passenger CV axle and paid $1200 to have it towed home:faint2: Not doing that again.

Thought you all were being sarcastic!
I have about had it with this snow...not sure how a person could even drive off-road right now...I have a good 2ft out here 7 miles East of Bend.

BackOff - I hear you!

I love winter. But I'm done. I filled and placed 40 sandbags for my elderly neighbors yesterday, just finished trying to seal up my garage, but I suspect it will be wet when I get home.

I have chains, but I think wheeling is on hold for a bit!

See you when it thaws.

(scratch that, that will be August)

See you soon!
