I'm not sure yet. Maybe both. I think he's walking a fine line, but I haven't updated myself to the story since late last week sometime either.

Specifically what makes him a possible traitor is the recent revelations via classified documents he released regarding US & China military hacking and penetrated systems. Also he released documents showing the US actively spy's on its allies.
Those disclosures have little to do with US spying on its own civilians and everything to do with US National security operations.

Not an Obama fan here either but it is worth mentioning that the programs we are talking about went live in 2006 and were designed for years before that.
This is the post 9/11 security apparatus coming to life and it has nothing to do with Obama. If McCain had won the program would be the same.

Forget politics for a minute. This guy is a traitor plain and simple. Sure, it's nice to know that even this post is probably being monitored but unfortunately now the bad guys know it too. Should have done it a different way and not gone global with it. Good intentions but bad and long lasting execution. He hurt our country by revealing classified secrets.

Totally agree. Hope he's found and then slowly, publicly, and painfully executed. Never happen but one can hope.
What he did was devastating and certainly put American lives at risk.

Fair enough.
I don't like how it was handled. I don't like the fact that the guy that is leaking all these secret is hiding in China. It's not like we are best friends with the Chinese.
I don't like my privacy being invaded anymore than anyone else but I pray to God that this guy doesn't give China any they can use.
I wish it would have been handle differently.
