So Cal 4Runner BS Thread

Ahhh I just put it together Jay is a "coach" haha! Sorry I don't follow sports unless it's rock climbing or esports :surfer:

I remember Jay talking about a training camp and here I'm thinking he's in MMA or something LOL. That is a rough way to start but, it's a new team/ organization I'm sure they will get better.

esports? Are you a fellow PC gamer? :spy:

Hey So-Cal,
Just wanted to let you know that I do Decals, if anyone is needing any stickers to add to there rig let me know what you need. I do 4 color printing and Contour cutting. I also make Banners for any occasion you have coming up. Prices are reasonable, with quick turnaround.

Do you have a website or link to show your work or options?

Called a bunch of dealers to see if I can get service work done because a CEL popped up yesterday while I was wheeling, P2610, however I already cleared the code with my OBII reader. Pretty much all of them were like, "you're going to waste your time coming here, wait for it to pop up again" :help:

I agree, if it pops up again just don't clear it. Let the dealer do it.

Yeah, definitely. From what I've been reading, though some people do clear the code with their readers, the vehicle won't really show any symptoms or problems, but power would just die out randomly. I'm just hoping the problem fixed itself.

Has anyone tried this front lift spacer? I want to just level the front until I get all new suspension. Your damage on the last run scared me to get more clearance hahaha. The only downside I read on amazon was that the strut bolts need to be cut. Kinda ehhhh to do that if its permanent and not reversable.

Does the 2nd Gen Tacoma front end fit in the 5th gen? That should level your front end, at least it does for the 4th gens. 99% of the damage you're going to take on any run is going to be pin stripes. I'm the only one that took anything substantial and that's because I backed up to straighten out for the waterfall and didn't think to look and see whether there was a rock behind me or not.

They would work but for the same price you could just get a pair from Supreme Suspension or MotoFab that are for your rig or the 4th gen 03-09 ones would work perfectly for your rig. I've used both of those brands and are of great quality and perfect fit with no need of cutting anything ...

Both companies can be found on Amazon and eBay and supreme suspension is local.

Yeah for the frequency but your bottom frequency ...here's how your screen should look

A. 146.460
B. 467.687

By using the a/b button on your radio when in frequency mode. Then your can lock the screen by holding the shift key so that you don't accidentally hit any buttons while talking and driving and also so whenever you turn it off and on they will always be set and the first thing you see on your screen at start up.
Make's it ree ree proof....

But you could also do 146.460 on both a and b which I have done as well .

So you all set for pismo now?

As much as I can be, I think lol. First time the wife will experience some wheelin'... kinda glad it's on some dunes(even though I've never wheeled in sand) and not anything super crazy. Any pointers?
