sorry to rain on the parade, but the 2018 Baja 4000 dream is dead :crybaby:

I emailed them to see if a 2018 event will happen, and they rather quickly replied:

Thanks for your email. In 2018 we're organizing our big rally, the Budapest-Bamako and in 2019 we will return to the Baja.
You should join the Budapest-Bamako, which is an 8500km offroad rally across the Sahara in Africa.

so unless you guys want to ship your rig to europe and drive through africa (which sounds amazing too)....

i'm in as well.

i'll be looking to get a fridge, winch, lights and lift.

Count me in as a part of the the 2019 crew. I'm working on a mechanics trail that will be up and running by then.

To do something like this it will take a ton of forward thinking to make this a reality. We would have to begin really planning in the in the next couple months so we can begin preparing in the next 6 months. 3 years will come and go very quick.

This one is actually a DVD video that plays with a regular projector. I put up a transparent shower curtain in the window and rear project onto it.

One snowflake done, 5 more to go. I hope to have my display up and going in the yard by this weekend.
