If nothing else, you should persuade her to let you upgrade the tires. Stock tires are going to be your biggest limiting factor.Hey all, new to the 4Runner world. I want to find some easy trails to take it on as I’ve never really done any off-roading. I have an SR5 premium 4x4, but still have the stock tires and suspension. Is there any guide to some SoCal(I’m in north county SD) trails I can look at that my virgin 4R can make it through easily. I threw up an alley oop to my wife about upgrading my suspension and tires but she Mutumbo’d that one on me so I need to keep it easy.

Tell her getting towed once from out in the middle of nowhere is more expensive than a set of tires.
Oh, and I did most of the Anza with my stock tires.
