So-CAL Roll Call & Introductions

Welcome! I'm in South Escondido...not too far. I hit up the local trais regularly.

Brian--can you add me to the SoCal group? I don't think I'm on it. Thanks!

Name is Erik, I currently live in Placentia, Ca. I've been offroading since 2005 when I purchased my Tacoma 4x4... Then had to sell it recently because my family is growing. Found a '99 LTD 4x4 that I couldn't pass up on. It has 130k on the clock and is sitting stock for now. I plan on giving it a suspension lift and all around armor with some nice meaty tires.

What is the skinny on this 3rd Gen SoCal Club?

I'm in San Clemente but no 4R yet, hopefully selling my miata on Saturday :bigok:
Might as well post a pic for you all while I'm here...

You're already a member John!

Mostly just so all the 3rd gen owners in SoCal know eachother. You can also post on just that board.

After I send you the membership invite and you accept, You can subscribe to the group (so the most recent group discussion is seen on your User CP page):

-Click on "Community" on the top menu bar on any T4r page and select "Social Groups" from the drop-down menu. Then choose "SoCal 3rd Gens" from the list of groups.
-You'll see "Group Discussions" if you scroll down the page a little and in the right corner of that box, you'll see "Group Tools". Click on that and select "Subscribe To This Group" from the drop down menu.

I'm in Lakewood. Still stock height but not for long. I'll post a pic when I have one worth posting... lol

now a member

Hey glad to be a member. If anyone is headed out to desert or mountains let me know. I'd be glad to come; I just need a weeks notice.

My truck is out of commission for next two weeks though.

pm me if you want to go and "break in" your truck on some hard stuff. Id be glad to take you out to cougar buttes or somewhere in Big bear. (john BUll) snow permitting. I have been thinking about making a trip down to corral canyon in SD to run sidewinder and bronco peak, but the drive to SD just about kills me. especially in my 4runner while gas is so expensive

I've broken it in already over the last 6 years: Hollister, Anzo-B, Yuma. Any more breaking in and it will be actually broken :)

:lightsaber:

At the moment I have a hole in my left rear quarter-panel window and hopefully that will be replaced in next two weeks.

I'll PM you once I'm good to go and my window is fixed. The quarter panel costs 3x the front windshield so I need to wait a paycheck.

do you mean professional fitted plexi? Who sells this for a 4Runner?

THanks.

no i was thinking of just going and getting some from home depot, making a little stencil and cutting it out. Get tinted stuff. then silicone it right in place. There was some pics of this done online somewhere. ill search right now
