SO, Camping Trip...

Before I go and put this together I want to know how would many would be down for a camping trip on the week of July 20-21? There are 11 spots on the site and it is pretty remote but close to OC,IE,San Diego. The 4x4 park is right next door with a pretty nasty trail on it and the rest is fun and do able with a 4Runner of any year. There are bathrooms and running water out of a well and that is about it.No electricity at all! The Falls for hiking are close but with no rain there is little falls going on but still a fun hike anyhow(watch out for Mountain Kitty's). Dog's are welcome but the down side of this. There is a no drinking Posted at the entrance of the camp area(I'm going to pretend that is not there for the weekend, RED SOLO CUP!) I would like to get as many of use together as I can, all Gen's welcome of 4runners.

Lets get a number count and if there is interest I will put it all together for us.

I ran the off road park and it can be done in 2wd on some trails and the rest 4x4. There is a few trails for the Bat crap crazy people to try. Good luck with not rolling it down the hill like the jeep that is there in the grave yard,lol....

I'm always down for camping and will be in big bear on 6/29 & 6/30 with a few guys.

The "crazy" trail you talk about I actually drove on but turned around before things got serious. The main hazard at this place seems to be the bushes. Don't go if you're afraid of getting pinstripes.

This is the place.

I was there a few days ago and Bloody Jersey Trail has been cleared. The Forest Service recovered the Jeep that rolled. The park is pretty easy on most all trails. There are places that will pin strip your truck. The park is not what I call a "Off Road Park". The trails are all hard parked and easy to drive for the most part.

The camping seemed to get busy over the weekend I'll have to get there early.

Was thinking about it but so far it is just me and Loco that are camping. One other was going to come out to play around in the park. So I'm not sure if I might move it up to Palomar Mt and try to do a run up on the truck trail etc. I would like to find a place that we can camp, wheel a bit and fish would be a added bonus. I have to do some looking around more. Up to you guys and suggestions are welcomed also.
