So i bought another 4th gen today...

I know there's a couple of people that have seen/talked about this truck before but it's a hell of a lot cooler than my 2wd that I've been driving for the last 4 years. Anyway, I'm going to pick it up Wednesday from my neighbor at home (parent's house). I think I have 1 or 2 pics of it though. I couldn't wait to tell you guys that I finally got a 4wd but I'll get some more shots tomorrow or saturday :bravo:

Yes it has been. Which is why I know there are some people out there that just are not a fan of it. Now it will be floating around Florida State for even more time. I'm just happy I got a 4WD finally!

Ya it's more like a 4runn- lol and I'd rather not say how much I paid for it because there were other people trying to buy it and they'd be pissed to know. This is for the previous owners safety haha

Ya most people don't like the look of it. But I've never driven a car that started so many conversations (I used to drive it a lot when I was at home). And it's a great way to meet people who are into the sport.

I remember reading that as well. Thats a huge problem waiting to expose itself, that would be the first thing I swap out.

Ya they are pretty cool. It's kind of like diamond plate on top, but it's more of a grip/line kind of pattern. I forgot the camera at school so I'll get pics when I get back probably monday afternoon.

Ya it's still got completely stock suspension (w/ X-REAS). It's got a spacer lift and a 4" body lift. I'm hoping to get enough money together for the SAW kit but I just don't see that happening anytime soon. Probably going to end up going with some OME stuff for now (hopefully during this summer). And I'm pretty sure the X-REAS is done and gone because they all show some sort of oil coating around them, which I'd imagine is hydraulic fluid haha. I'll get shots of that too so you guys can diagnose.

As far as the body lift goes, I want to take a closer look at how the steering issue was addressed before I go taking it off. I think the truck is cool that high, and in college, so does everyone else. Besides, then I'd have to find smaller tires for it, which I can't really afford right now either lol

Can you post a photo of the rear of the vehicle. Since the back section of the roof has been removed, is interior completely open or is there a partition between the rear seats and cargo area? It's definitely one of a kind, hope you have lots of fun with it.

I call b.s. on this. I too have seen these pics on the internet floating around, You cant say what you paid for it, You dont have any more pictures of it......cmon man. Maybe if we see actual pictures that YOU took of the truck we might be more inclined to believe you, and who cares about what other people hear what you paid for it. If its yours, its yours.....they'll get over it.

I think I'd like it better if it was all black (but I've never been a white truck person, so don't mind me).

Whoever designed it and put it together sure was on a mission - on the one hand that's admirable, though on the other hand I hope they did a good job for you and you don't have to spend money on upkeep.

Either way, have fun with it (but not too much fun on the regular roads - something tells me the cops will be gagging to pull you over).
