Can you post a photo of the rear of the vehicle. Since the back section of the roof has been removed, is interior completely open or is there a partition between the rear seats and cargo area? It's definitely one of a kind, hope you have lots of fun with it.

Ya sure I can as soon as I get back to my apartment (monday). It's not open, there is a wall there with a power back window installed. Don't worry, I'll take lot's of pics!

I call b.s. on this. I too have seen these pics on the internet floating around, You cant say what you paid for it, You dont have any more pictures of it......cmon man. Maybe if we see actual pictures that YOU took of the truck we might be more inclined to believe you, and who cares about what other people hear what you paid for it. If its yours, its yours.....they'll get over it.

I don't know if you read through just some of the posts or the whole thread, but I think you may have missed the part where I said I would take pictures on monday and show them to you guys. And since the previous owner and I are good friends, I'm still not inclined to tell the general public what I paid for it, despite the facts that you mentioned. I do have a question for those of you still questioning whether I'm telling the truth or not: Why would I lie? LOL i mean, what purpose would it serve? I've been on these boards since 07 with a truck that wasn't exactly what I wanted, but I never lied about having anything different. Check my sig...it still shows the other truck.

I think I'd like it better if it was all black (but I've never been a white truck person, so don't mind me).

Whoever designed it and put it together sure was on a mission - on the one hand that's admirable, though on the other hand I hope they did a good job for you and you don't have to spend money on upkeep.

Either way, have fun with it (but not too much fun on the regular roads - something tells me the cops will be gagging to pull you over).

Ya I've never had a white car either, but I think in this case, it's better for really getting to see all the stuff done to it. I would love to paint it a dark grey or something, since all of my other cars have been black. But that's not in the foreseeable future.

It was designed by a guy named Alan with the previous owner. Many people on 'Mud know alan's work. I'll attach a few shots of some of his other stuff if I can digg it up. But he does good work and I've been driving this truck on and off for the past 2 years and I haven't had a problem. It is, however, still incomplete. The bed needs to be cleaned up. It's a little raw right now. You'll see what I mean when I take the other pics.

I remember that rig - like a 4Runner version of an Avalanch. Stood out too cause it was from Flori-duh? I dig it, but not much of a FL mud truck -wonder how it will do in the deep sand and whoops? Can you slam the front end or jump it? I am still guessing what its best use would be?

You must have one hell of a college job to afford such a nice rig that or a great pops. Me - flat broke in college and left in debt - and not car debt. But I remember the kids that had the nice cars, the more expensive than my dads car type cars.

This is the first time I've seen it. I think it looks pretty cool, but I was sad to hear it has stock suspension and a crapload of body lift.

I'm glad you got a good deal on it since the suspension is shot. You will want to get that fixed asap or it WILL cause you considerable grief.

Are those mirror lights fabricated or off the shelf?

The guy had some fab skills, no doubt. What did he do with the back bumper, if anything? From the shots posted it looks stock besides maybe the cutout for the spare. Just mho, but if I were to spend that much time fabricating cool parts I would have fabbed something not readily available like a cool rear bumper. Congrats on the truck though. It is definitely one-of-a-kind. imp:

Ya it's still got completely stock suspension (w/ X-REAS). It's got a spacer lift and a 4" body lift. I'm hoping to get enough money together for the SAW kit but I just don't see that happening anytime soon. Probably going to end up going with some OME stuff for now (hopefully during this summer). And I'm pretty sure the X-REAS is done and gone because they all show some sort of oil coating around them, which I'd imagine is hydraulic fluid haha. I'll get shots of that too so you guys can diagnose.

As far as the body lift goes, I want to take a closer look at how the steering issue was addressed before I go taking it off. I think the truck is cool that high, and in college, so does everyone else. Besides, then I'd have to find smaller tires for it, which I can't really afford right now either lol

I would definitely get that suspension taken care of. The LAST thing I would want with a truck with that much lift and 35's is to have bad shocks, it is just unsafe. I would look into the Rad Flo kit from overland warehouse. It uses really good materials and is much more beefy than most others on the market.

As for the body lift, any steering issues aside, a 4" body lift can be dangerous in general as it puts so much strain on the body mounts. There have been cases where trucks with large body lifts have had the body sheer away from the frame.

With a 1.5" body lift and coilovers, you can fit 35's so you can keep your tires. There is even one guy running 35's without a body lift and another who had a 2.5" body lift who was running 37's. It is possible.

I think the truck is cool looking. It definitely needs the suspension to go with it. A higher center of gravity, increased weight, large, heavy wheels and tires will cause the shocks to fade quickly.

Hopefully the seller gave you details on the body lift. If it as high as we think, hopefully some reinforcement has been added.

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you guys yet. I've been busy (finals are next week) and it's been raining every day since I got back sunday night. Just so to quell you guys until the rain stops I had my buddy email me a picture he took on his iphone over the weekend. Hopefully I'll be able to get out there with my camera tomorrow... it's supposed to be sunny. I don't have one of those waterproof cameras otherwise i'd be out there right now lol

Congrats on the purchase. Also I would read over my last comment, I think you really need to look at the suspension and also as rook said, look at the body lift to see if it was reinforced.

I am curious how tall this thing really is, when it stops raining can you measure from the ground to the top of the wheel well? I think stock is around 33, so I am curious what yours is.

Gotta love the South. Well a I wouldn't consider a lot of Florida the South, but that is a different story.

There are plenty of lifted trucks on Clemson's campus. People would look at you funny if you drove a Prius.
