My babies....
With 3 sons with cars--- this Winter has been an experience! My oldest has a 97 Accord and in mid-Nov, during a snowstorm, he slid into a concrete divider!! He was fine, as he wasn't going fast, however, fast enough to trigger the airbags! A couple of days later my Wife and I left for Vietnam for a month. I reluctantly handed him the keys to my beloved 4Runner--- as he needed to commute to College... THEN while we were out of the country, my youngest rear-ended a truck with his 97 Corolla!! Again, he was fine, just embarrassed... Chri$t!! Did I mention Pick N' Pull is a College kids' best friend? We had the Accord back on the road in a week--- there was even wrecks in the same body colour as his! The most expensive part was the windshield. The insurance company would have written it off, so this was the cheapest option. The youngest sons' Corolla is a work in progress--- it will be back on the road this weekend--- again, Pick N' Pull is his friend.
So, I digress..

Mmmmmm...black and white are my favorites for the W140. Mine's a '95, first year for OBD2, only year deleting the vacuum assist for door closing was an option (thank god mine doesn't have it), and the same year I was born. :cheers:
Growing up in AZ I've learned to hate anything vacuum related. The heat dried out everything from electrical insulation to vacuum tubing. Now that I have 14 years on my 4Runner, I'm worried why I haven't had to replace any rubber!

-- trust me on that, lol. That goddamn close assist pump went out on my mom's W140 and my dad's W220. You did well by getting the first OBDII year, all my moms codes on the 94 I had to take to a great Benz mechanic I met.

I’ll never get this again at the new house with the 4Runner. The driveway is to steep to get the boat in so, we’re Rack storing it now!
