Wife's '98 TJ (not a current pic): hmmm...after looking, realized we don't have any pics of it. Pretty basic right now. 3" suspension, 1" body lift, 33's, 1.5" wheel spacers. Hard top, hard doors. Massive project will ensue after I finish the 4Runner. Making a completely new frame, taking 6" out of the middle of the tub, hood, grill, top, windshield and welding it back together. Plating the body in 3/16" steel, stretching the wheelbase 16" or so, Currie RockJock 60, 14B rear....grizzly lockers and 5.38s in both. TWF 3 spd. Hero case, 5.3L Chevy hooked to a built 700r4, 41.5" PBRs on 17" Stazworks beadlocks. Have most of the major parts....minus the trans, wheels and coilovers or ORIs.

Not my driveway, but .......Here's the buggy I'm building for a buddy....my next one will be very similar but out of larger tubing.

Some specs: 1 tons and a healthy 5.3L V8 pumping out 525hp. The design is very light, and incredibly low (<6' tall on 42" tires) with approximately 7" of up travel and fully adjustable link numbers.

113" wheelbase, 21" or 23" belly height (adjustable link geometry), 70" or 72" overall height on 42's

I drive a 2015 STi and my wife drives the 4Runner. I had a 2015 Rubicon before she got her 4Runner but I sold it for a sedan before we had our baby.

I just joined but have loved 3rd gen 4Runner's all my life. I'm currently in the market for one so I will be posting pics of that one real soon. I'm a member on Mustang6g with over a thousand posts. I've been on car forums forever it seems like. I also have a 2005 Scion TC with well over 100K that I've had since new. That thing is what really branded Toyota forever in my heart.

Anyway, here's my Mustang. She's only a little 4 banger but she traps at 109mph! Underestimated from day one.
