Thanks, it is a lot of fun! An MGB can be cheap fun, or an older Miata.

There is a high probability that I will take ownership of a one owner, low mileage, 1985(?), always garaged Porsche 911 with whale tale. The only issue is it has been garaged for a couple years with what I remember was a computer board issue.

So I am questioning what I will need to do to get it road worthy again.

I drove this car when it was newish. It was amazing.

Just inherited my dads 97 F150, drove it from Stl to Wv 2 weeks ago. 172k miles and he bought it new. Spent almost 10yrs in chicago with it and only rust is slight surface rust on inside of the drivers door along the inside on the pinch seam.

Just bought another Toyota....

Well, I got a new job, so the company took my corporate vehicle away! Driving my 4r to work everyday didn't excite me overly, so I decided to buy a smaller car. I love Celicas, and ever since I gave up my Honda Prelude, 6 mos. before my oldest son was born, I've always longed for a 2dr 5spd with a sunroof again!! My youngest graduated from High School as well, and so along with my commuting issue, I decided to pull the trigger on a Celica!

So, my 4Runner is now purely for pleasure use, getting off road and pulling the boat, as well as transporting the family, if I must! I look forward to going to work now!!

My Wife says it screams mid-life crisis!! I hope it won't become a ticket magnet!!:reddance:

I have a '92 Mazda Miata I have owned since '00. It is modified quite a bit for track and street use.

I also have an '05 325iT, RWD, 5sp manual, a pretty rare combination. I gave it to my wife when her IS300 Sportcross was wiped out by a Tundra.

I recently sold my '88 325IS which I restored. Fun car.

I've been a Ford guy most of my driving life, so here are my current rigs in one picture.

My daily is the 2004 Ranger FX4 Level II with 165k on the odometer, and my toy is the 2002 Focus that was my first car. It's supercharged, lowered with many other goodies on it.
