I got a '92 Volvo 740 with 270k. I'm looking to buy a 4Runner right now, if I end up getting one the wagon will probably go to my girlfriend.

A couple things, the Titan is my sons. Next to the camaro is a fender of a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Arctic which we sold. Love the color of the Arctic's. Anyone old enough to know what the other black car is?

Is that a 1980’s Toyota Supra? I used to love the looks of those cars back when I was in high school!

I had a 1985 Supra when I was in high school, the black car is a 1986 Chrysler Conquest. Wide body turbo car that was pretty cool way back when. I picked that up a few years back and it only had 26k on it.

1997 T/TD RHD Forester, only had 42,400 km on it when it was imported in 2013.

You all have some great cars! Here's my contribution...

2016 Golf R w/ JB4 Map 2 tune. This was my first brand new car and a reward for finally landing a great job (not sure I'll ever buy new again, but that's a different story). I wanted something that could handle the 60-mile RT commute to said new job and be really fun while doing so. That's not to say the 97 T4R I had at the time couldn't handle the commute, I just loved that truck too much to let it get worn down by such a lame drive. It freed up the T4R to be my dedicated mountain vehicle and allowed me to make it less practical (until I totaled it a month ago), and now that I only have to do that commute two days a week, my cars are much happier.

Anyway, the Golf is a hoot to drive and does 0-60 pretty damn close to 4 flat. It's my favorite on canyon roads here in Colorado, and it's an absolute yeti in the snow too since I put Blizzaks on it for the winter. I actually preferred driving it in the snow to my 97 T4R (jury is out on my 2004 T4R) because it's just so friggin planted and has a great AWD system that still lets you take off traction control for AWD snow drifting if you so choose.

Anyway, I named him "R TooD2" and call him my little "Arturito".

Yep, that's my Lotus Elise - best handling, bar-none. Nothing drives like a Lotus, period. Truly a driver's car. The Evora is a grown-up Elise with the same directi visceral handling - with reliable Toyota V6 engine, refined by lotus with superb suspension. Once you drive it, you'll buy it. Check out the Lotus Talk Forum for all the info and you might get a good private sale deal from another Lotus enthusiast. Can you please explain to me the appeal of the Subaru Crosstrek? To me it's just a really expensive Impreza with a lifted suspension and some rugged-looking body cladding. For $3k more you can get a Forester Premium or even a base model Outback, both are much better cars imo.

We like the looks, size and gas mileage better than the Forester or the Outback. She hated the Forester and didn't like driving the Outback. She loves driving the Crosstrek, so it is the much better car imo.

that was my first thought, after months of research on the car (I was looking for an 04ish model) I think the lotus would be more fun to own and cheaper to maintain being a Toyota-ish
