People can't even drive through town right now. Not sure what beginner means but 31s and 33s aren't doing much in 7 feet of snow

All you need is a little bit of a trail to have fun.

You'll have better luck in Big Bear. Mammoth has 7 feet of new snow in town, with up to 11 feet in new snow on the mountain. It is around 0 - 5 F at night and 25F during the day this week. Plus they are getting another storm coming this Saturday that is going to dump, again.
So yeah pardon me if I Lol at the suggestion of hitting a few trails near mammoth lakes ..... They shut down the 395 man!
BTW if none of you have seen the pictures on Instagram or Facebook of mammoth, check it out...

Sorry Biran, didn't realize the conversation was about Mammoth. Thus why I thought it was extreme not to go up there lol.
I haven't seen pics, i'll check it out.

You have to remember it's been butt a$$ cold, so a lot of it is iced over.
Was chatting with a few people on IG that had posted pics and they said it was a little scary with the sliding. So just be careful.

Went up to Mt. Pinos this weekend! They got a couple inches of fresh snow this morning, but by the time we got up there the roads were plowed and I even got a spot at the summit 
Trails were great, got stuck a few times. I would post pictures but its not letting me. I click the IMG button, (little yellow mountain) and my whole screen freezes. Anyone know what's up with that?
