SoCal Meet and Greet

I won't be able to make it this Friday.
But I'd suggest for upcoming meets that it be at someplace other than a restaurant. For some, it can be awkward/intimidating to sit down to dinner with people you don't know. It might be a little friendlier for people to hang out/meet in a park or a parking lot.

I host a bi-monthly meet for CRX owners at a local regional park, and it works out really great.
 
What about EGL,s original idea? Just meet up at El Dorado Park n hang out in the parking lot checking out eachothers rides... Keep it simple.

I don't know if you've picked up on it yet, but most SoCal T4Rers just like to wax and armorall their cars. If we go to a park, it might get dusty........

lol, I don't think ELG's statement was meant as sarcasm.

But I do agree that we should meet up in an open environment and not a restaurant.

Some options:

  1. El Dorado Park
  2. Irvine Spectrum
  3. Brea regional park

Any other suggestions and we can just keep adding until we get a place where it's central to everyone and open enough to walk around and chat. We can than make it a "usual" spot and work on dates.

Just my 2 C.
 
I'm meeting up with some truck buddies at the SuperMex in Fullerton Friday night. I'll be bringing Amie with me, so it'll be "wife/girlfriend friendly". I'll post up info if anyone's interested.

i work this Sat so i cant meet Friday night but i like to go outside so hit me up in the future i'll roll with you where ever

Yeah for sure. I do most of my time outdoors on my XR, but now that it's heating up- A/C is nice too. I'll let you know next time.
 
Yep, but carlsbad coffee crashing is a good idea. If we could set up something we can probably talk to Sonic's retaurant (nessie's burger cough) and see if they save us some spot for parking. I see alot of clubs in the lowrider commuinty having meetings like this once a month.

^This sounds cool but is a bit of a drive for us LA county members. :car: Something closer would be nice... Any suggestions? Like the Southbay or a more central location. :shrug:
