SoCal Meet-up?

Looks like we'll have a great turn out any day we choose to meet. I have a couple of ideas.
1. We can meet on the 11th, but we won't have Pikeman as a guide. Is anyone familiar enough with some easy/moderate difficulty trails to lead the run?

2. We plan the meet for the 18th so Pikeman can guide us.

3. We have 2 events. 1 easy trail meet (11th), and 1 moderate difficulty trail meet (18th).

I hope I'm not overcomplicating things. I'm leaning to #2.

Lets do the 18th and call it the pre-Father's Day Run. Next point of business, what trail to hit. Anybody checking out maps or have ideas for an easy/moderate trail that our 2WD members can navigate?
 
Don't know if this will help. I've never been out there but will do some investigating.

These roads are all easy except for 4S21 Indian Mountain. Going downhill it is a mild blue, going uphill it is a difficult blue. It is very similiar to 2N17X, except much narrower. 4S21 starts on the high side at Hwy 243 at the Indian Vista N33.79700 W116.77794 and on the low side on 5S09 at N33.7676 W116.7894

Jeeez! I didn't expect this much interest. We can do Bee's Canyon, but 4 of us just did it last month (see the pics in the Monst4rs section). I know some guys want to do Cleghorn, but I don't know the difficulty level. Anyone run it yet?
 
I'm interested in meeting up with other 4runner owners. I'd make the drive down from Monterey, let me know when so I can get someone to watch the kids, otherwise I'm open to anything!
 
On the wimpy trail, will my TE on shltty stock rubber be okay?

Total new guy at this, my background is road racing sports cars stuff not off-road.

I will have my little guys with me ages 12 & 10.

You would be more than fine. I did 2n17X (Hard) trail in my stock limited with the 20 inch wheels and bicycle tires.

From what I got so far, we have a big turnout for mostly the 18th. Since we have so many people that can make it for the 18th, Could we do Bee's Canyon again? It looks like a great place, & we would have an easy trail to get a lot of guys out together. Maybe next month we can plan for a different trail.

Do we have PIKEMAN as a guide? Has anyone confirm it with him as well? Either way we need to get this confirmed so I can request the right day off. :) Please let us know, the sooner the better.

I have been off net doing field excercises all month. I get back beginning of June and should get my truck back together a couple days after that. I have all the parts waiting for me at home to get it back on the road. Then again there is always those small items you miss.

Plan right now is to make the run on the 18th. I can lead just about any of the easy to moderate runs throughout the San Berdo Forest(which includes the San Jacinto/Idywild area)might even get my hands on some of the MVUM's(Motor Vehicle Use Maps) in English this time.
