I just created a social group (if you're from MN join up!), and was wondering how to add an image for the group logo?

Go to your group and find "Edit Group" link at the bottom. The rest should be self explanatory.

I've been to that part a few times, but haven't found anything to set a picture for the groups logo.

I just noticed that none of the groups have a logo pictures. Everyone's logo is just a question mark, so I guess it's not really an option. Oh well!

Any ideas if it's just not a feature, or if it's a software bug?

It has an ability to change the logo.

I can't access that link in particular because it's for a group I'm not the admin of... however if I change the 27 to a 12 in that link it take same to that page for my group. The only option I have is picking a category (only has the option for uncategorized), Edit the description, Change group type (public, moderated, private), enable/disabled Albums, enable/disable Messages.


Now that I realize it's not just me (none of the groups have their own logo/picture), I'm not too worried about it.

I just thought I was blind, or for some reason it wasn't working for my group. Since it seems to be site wide.. it's all good.

Do you see a section called "Edit Group Icon" underneath Save and Cancel in the Edit Group screen? Wonder if it's only available for admins.

Nope, haven't seen that in there. You're probably right.. the privileges for that are probably currently set to Admins only.
