Social Media Groups

Hey folks!

Does anyone have any recommendations for some solid, friendly, light-hearted and helpful social media 4Runner groups? I recently left several groups due to quite a few not-so-nice folks so my social media circle is basically at zero besides here on t4r.org

Seems like this website and Overland Bound are the 2 solid groups I have found and will stay loyal to, but Im looking for more local meet n greets and wheeling trips.

What groups do y'all belong to? What do you recommend?

You could ask on the Nextdoor app if anyone in your neighborhood is in to that stuff.

Difficult. even the best get plagued with immaturity and people feeling like they can anonymously attack people with impunity. I think its just the REAL human nature showing up when people think they are anonymous. Even the best social media is plagued with it. It really says something about how humans really are.

I belong to Toyota Land Cruiser Association=open to all Toyota fourby owners, not just LCs (I do have an FJ40). Not really social media but does have local affiliates.

My wife and I belong to 4Runners of Washington but, AFIW, only residents of WA can join. Called out a member for habitat destruction and got a few snide remarks but also got over 40 likes. So it seems to be a good group.
