I've searched this forum for hours and always come to a dead end. Can anyone cofirm for a fact whether the Solara Nav. from Oem Value has the option of changing the button color from green to orange/amber? Also does the stock silver trim around the head unit in an 06 SE need to be replaced? Thanks!

No, the button color can't be changed. The model numbers are different on the two nav units, E7008 has amber buttons, E7009 has green buttons. The background color of the buttons on the screen can be changed from blueish green to amber, if it's like the E7008.
The bezel (trim around the head unit) does not need to be changed if you have the basic radio. The nav doesn't sit flush with the silver bezel and it's recessed a bit.

If you can post a picture of your head unit and dash, I could probably tell you if the nav will fit or if you will need a different bezel. Does your JBL radio have rounded corners similar to the nav or the corners are squared?
You can check eBay and see if there's anyone selling the E7008. I'm not sure if the E7008 is used in any other model other than the 4Runner.

According to the OEMValue site people, they now have a NAV unit that matches the T4R color and is the same as the units in the 2006 & 2007 models.
However, since they seem to be slow or reluctant to respond to specific question on their forum I'd wait to see if there is any truth to what they are saying.
