Solara question

I know it’s T4R forum and I own one, but my gf drives 2004 Solara and I figured I ask the question here.
So I changed her oil, oil filter, and while doing that I noticed oxidation on one of the battery terminals. So I disconnected it, wire brushed and dropped some engine oil around both terminals because the felt washers at terminals were completely dry.
She started the car, drove 100 yards and car died. Battery looks charged. As i start the engine and press acceleration pedal it runs. As I press on brakes it dies. Doesnt hold the idle.
What is going on? Did I mess the battery with that oil? But It starts... please help.

I brush the terminals with alum anti-seize. Stops corrosion & still conducts. They have copper anti-seize I've just never purchased it because I have a big jar of alum.
