Holy shit, I might literally sell my truck and buy this thing. This would be the second right hand drive vehicle I've owned. I tell you what, there's nothing like getting out of your ride and stepping right onto the curb.
What would it take to license this truck in California. I almost don't want to know...

. I'm afraid it may be a challenge to get this registered on the road in Cali. I hear it's one of the most strict of the states in registering a rhd vehicle (US law requires such a vehicle to be 25 years or older to be legal on the roads).However, there's numerous people that have somehow ended up registering these rhd's on the roads in numerous states. If your very serious, I could forward you some links and contacts of people who drive rhd's in the US and maybe you could find a way to make it work...

They are extra wide to give it a more rugged and widebody stance. The truck's official class/name is the Toyota Hilux Surf Widebody SSR-X. And yes, it's a diesel! 2.4L baby! Inline four with 225 ft-lbs of torque at 2400 rpms...

The RHD isn't as much of a problem importing as the diesel is. It is nearly impossible to bring a diesel down to the States from Canada.
