Hey guys, my name is James. Here's a story just about my Previa.
I bought my 1995 Previa LE S/C (2nd of 5 Toyotas) used with 59,000 miles in August of 2000. It was a great car for the last 10 years. The vehicle has had no major service issues since then, and has only required periodic maintenance. It now has 97,000 (3,800 miles per year) miles and still runs like the day I got it. The vehicle was equipped with a Kenwood DNX-7100 7" touch screen navigation system with backup camera, but since has been removed. There is no radio in place.
Now, the issue at hand. On August 24th, 2010, just a few weeks ago and ironically 10 perfect years of ownership, a girl lost control of her Honda Accord off of Alicia Parkway (large main road near my house), ran over the median, dodged 3 lanes of oncoming traffic, hit a wall, mailbox, telephone box, and came to rest in the back of my van which was parked in front of my house.

The van has been declared a total loss. I just renewed registration ($85 + $79.99 smog) prior to the accident for September 2011, as well as a $1,200 service at Japanese Car Specialties. The tune up included new shocks, brakes, fluids, driveshaft couplers (as they wear after 90,000 miles). I also bought 4 new Michelin Energy tires for $600 from America's Tire. The vehicle was used less than 200 miles after said tune up until the accident.
So, while it still drives great with all of the damage, I couldn't possibly take on fixing this thing. I, instead, have bought another 4Runner, a 2004 Sport Edition with 88,000 miles.
I've now got to sell the Previa, which is a real shame, since it was so good to me and my family for 10 solid years. I figure it's worth something to someone who wants to use it for a parts van, or hell, if you've got the time, fix it. I've come to a price of $1,500 OBO.

There is a small bit of clear coat fading near the roof.
As far as the van aspect of the vehicle, it was never used for young children and was always kept clean. The interior of the vehicle is a little awry since the accident, though.

The only legality concerns may be with the right side tail light which is broken. Of course you could always reply to this post and I'll get back to you with whatever things you want.
