I have a new in the box Viper 5902 HD Remote Start and car alarm. Viper is made by DEI. The 2 way remote has a color screen. This unit will work with the smart start module that would allow you to start your car from your I-phone or blackberry. $325.00 shipped.

For those of you looking for one of these systems, some things to note:

I haven't found an installer for less than $200.
The unit requires a module if you have a factory locking system and a key with a proximity chip (who doesn't??). That module is another $100.
IF you want to use the Smart Start for Blackberry or iPhone, you need another module. ANOTHER $300.

Bottom line...VIPER is making a killing. This install will run me around a grand when you figure in the "little things" that the installer was nice enough to make sure he mentioned. Oh well, it's just money, right? :jump:
 
Hey what year is your 4runner?
I have done RS installs multiple times on 3rd gens.
I have some left over BYpass units. I have PKDATA in the box i can sell you.

As for as the blackberry app, im not sure. I dont really bother with that kind of stuff.
