Solution to Weak Reverse Lights on 3rd Gen

Many of us hate the dim reverse lights (7440 size) on the third gen. I bought some LED's with the "cree" style flat bulb. I plugged them in an bingo! Lot's of light! Bought them on Amazon.com and they came from someplace called "autogoody." These are really well made with a machined aluminum base. They work like a charm! Thinking about getting some 7443 LED brake bulbs as well.

I took a chance on these eBay Chinese 5w CREE 7440's:

Pretty good price, they fit fine, and after two weeks they still work!

Wow, I just looked at my link. I got them for 2 for $15.99, now he wants $46 for two. WTF?

I try to get most of my bulbs from ddm-tuning.com. They have decent prices. Shipping can take a qhile since they come from China but everything I have is good if not better quality than other items i buy locally or through ebay. heres a similar bulb; probably the same exact thing..

all my led conversions have been from ebay(china).. sure i would rather pay for an american product instead of taking a bet on the leds but these chinese option is so much more cheaper and so far everything has been solid! including over 20 multiled 194's, several 32,48 5050smd led panels, a few t5 bulbs, wedge bulbs, and a dualbeam hid set..

that said, the link provided probably work great: im thinking i want a pair now lol

I like that you can select your vehicle and it gives you a selection of what will work.

i got some good LED lights for inside the truck, and was just laughing at all those stupid group buys on this site for interior led lights that were dirt cheap on tmart... :cowboy:
