Something is loose up front. LBJ or coilover grommets.

I've got a noticeable POP under normal trail riding. Most apparent when the front end goes off camber. It's only on the passenger side. I replaced the lower ball joints a couple years ago. The adjustable Bilstein 5100's have been on the truck since 2010 and the lower grommets look worn out.

If I replace the LBJs again, this time it will be with genuine Toyota parts. I've heard horror stories about some 4Runners flipping due to failure in after market LBJs.

Where can I get the grommets? Looked on Toytec's and Bilstein's website but found nothing and it's after hours. Any ideas?

I don't think they sell them separately. BUT you're in luck.. I have a brand new extra passenger side OEM LBJ I'll sell you for super cheap if you want it. I was going to keep it in case I had any problems, but after 2 years, my LBJ's are still in great shape.

Edit - whoops, thought you were talking about the boot on the LBJ, but you were talking about the grommets on the shock derppp lol

Grassyass homes! I'ma take a look through my receipts and see what kind of warranty I got on these bad boys. Probably from AdvanceAuto, which has ZERO stores on the West coast!

No receipt for the LBJ so I went to take a quick look to find out what brand there are. I can't tellurium I do see that my passenger side sway bar connecting arm is missing the lower nut. That should be the culprit.

Possible. Well, since you reminded me of the extra LBJ I have, it's not going anywhere so when you decide to change them, lemme know! I'll save it for you.

Sorry guys, forgot to update: I was missing that nut for the front sway bar lower connecting arm. It messed threads up to bad to get another nut back on so once again it is removed. And the noise is gone!
