When I was installing my retro HID kit, I kept blowing the fuse. Obviously, something wasn't wired correctly. I inadvertently put in a 30amp fuse (not paying attention to the color coded fuses) into the 10amp slot for the headlights. Smoke resulted burning the hi beam solenoid (HID) and now my ECU is fried. My rig is at Toyota now........

I didn't know that it could happened (burn ECU). I sometimes replaced a burnt lower fuse with a higher amp fuse. Just lazy to buy the same one. I need to check my truck fuse box.

Depends. If you replace a 10amp with a 15amp, you should be ok, but just to be safe, replace with correct one! Having a blown ECU (I may have done some more unseen damage) isn't fun.

Got a tourist unstuck from a snow bank and then barely got a thank you....... so i unhooked him in a bad spot and he slid back into his hole further and asked me for another pull.....i said call a tow truck and proceeded to throw snow all over him and his vehicle as i drove away. but thats what you get for driving a 2WD SUV.*cough* HEEP! *cough*
