Sometimes it will not start

Help,
I have a 90 SR5 that about every 6 months it will not start. I will let it sit for a while and try it again a few times and it will start and be good for another few months. This last time it happened while it was running at a stop light. I had it towed home and same as above it is running OK for now. I have replaced the coil, igniter, cap and rotor. Need help with this one.

Have you tried running the codes using the "CHECK ENGINE LIGHT"?..if so...Were there any?

Tom,
The check engine light does not come on when it happens, but I do not know if it needs to when it generates a code. I will check it out later today and let you know what I find.

The check engine codes were #12-engine RPM signal and #14 ignition signal.
