Son totaled my supercharged 2wd

So I have a 2000 SC runner. Son totals it 2 days ago. Got estimate of 7300, still waiting on insurance final word. Suck((((

ME! just kidding, but really though. It doesn't look like $7300 unless the frame somehow got bent, or possibly the roof. It does look like the rear axle has some damage though.

Put me in line for the SC if it is totaled, although I don't think it will be.

I see 7300 there all day long.

I'm betting on a bent rear axle, replacing the rocker panel, quarter panel, door, flares, and a lot of other parts.

OP:

I can't see the Pic at work, damn Govt computers, but if it is totaled, why not buy it back from insurance, go to a yard, find a decent body, and just swap it over. That way you get to keep your Runner. the frames are the same as the 4WD, so if you wanted a black body, nows a good time to go for it.

Just sayin. You could still keep the 4Runner.

Hell, as long as the gears are ok, I've got a housing out of a 2wd you can have. Just need the axles, and drums.

That quote doesn't suprise me...I smacked a tree with my 4th gen last winter. Ended up needing a new fender, fender flare and bumper cover needed to be repaired plus paint, quotes were around 2k at multiple shops. Makes me think i'm in the wrong business.

Axle is bent badly. Both doors. B pillar is smashed in. Shop said that was biggest thing. SC may be pulled before they get it
