Soon to be first time T4R owner in VA

Hello everyone! Hopefully this will be the #1 place to help me with everything. Ive always been "into" cars and I currently have a 06 Tc and in the last week I looked at 2 4runners and I have no clue about them! Ive just always loved the look of them. So I have tons of questions!

Didja look at edmunds.com? That's where I started my research. I had no clue about 4Runners. They have model description and reviews and pricing info for new and older vehicles. My budget is about $5K and looks like 1996 - 2000 would work for me. 96+ is 3rd generation according to wikipedia. Pre-96 had some problem and older body design.

Craigslist threw up a few matches. I'm still looking...
