I'm considering a muffler or maybe the whole exhaust. But it seems like the Throttle body spacer is a waste of time. At least that seems to be the general consensus. Do you have one? Thoughts...?

Brian, no offense intended, but stick with giving advice on the cosmetic mods bro. LOL... :

Intake: Deckplate, Intake Silencer Removal, Remove elbow in fender. Cost? $20. Dyno'd more power to the wheels than the typical K&N intake kit type intakes. www.gadgetonline.com

Clean your MAF to improve your MPG's a tad.

Muffler: Magnaflow 14" for sound or 22" for quiet performance. Cost? $100 for straight through polished stainless steel housing, core, and deadening material.

Also it needs to be universal knowledge that throttle body spacers do absolutley zero on direct port injection motors and are a total waste of $$$.

Magnaflow didn't have an option to plug in 97 4runner on their website. Any advise?

My '98 Limited was 2.25" center inlet and 2.25" offset out.

My suggestion is to find an exhaust shop to weld it up. The 2.5" center/offset will fit snug over stock piping.
