Sound on Kenwood headunit cuts out

I have a Kenwood head unit connected to a Maestro to integrate it with my factory steering wheel controls and amp in my 2014 Limited. About twice a month the sound on all speakers will go out. If I turn the radio off and on again it does nothing, but if I turn the vehicle completely off and back on it works again, which makes me think it may have something to do with the factory amp. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have this problem and it's driving me nuts... There was another thread about this somewhere but I never saw a resolution. It's really frustrating and driving me nuts

You and me both, I can't figure out if it has to do with the Maestro unit or the head unit. I've considered changing to a different head unit but I've been hesitant to since I don't know if I'll still have the same issue afterwards.

It's weird, I used this same Maestro for a few years with my Alpine Halo9 and had no cut out issues. I've seen several other people complaining about their Kenwoods doing this. It's really frustrating

I opened a case with Crutchfield and they claim that this is due to a faulty speaker or wiring. I do on occasion get a pop in my front right dash speaker and sometimes when starting with my remote start it complains about a speaker so I already ordered a new wire harness to replace for that speaker, but they're claiming that the Maestro doesn't process audio so they're blaming the bad speaker. I plan to replace the wiring harness for my suspect speaker and can report back....

Kenwood Head Unit

I'd like to know if that fixes your problem. I haven't noticed any speaker connection issues and no messages about connection problems that on the head unit.
