I have a 03 Limited with several sound system upgrades. I pulled the stock JBL radio and replaced it with an Alpine CDA-9884 head unit with I-Pod interface. I have the 10 speaker JBL Systhesis speakers still in place (for now) and have added an Alpine 10" subwoofer and a Kenwood 1000 watt amp for the sub.
Lately, I head momentary slight volume drops when listening to the radio, CD's and the I-Pod. Not much, but you definitely can tell and it is really annoying.
Any ideas? The head unit seems fine. I think the problem may likely be with the JBL speakers or perhaps I may be ready for a new battery.
What do you guys think?
