Debating on side ladder. Can it be purchased later and attached? I'm thinking that I'll have a rack eventually. I'd want to buy a ladder only if I end up getting a rack.

Thanks for the link to the cutout, seems simple enough. I saw what all the options are, was just looking for weights of the bumper and the different options so I can plan my suspension upgrade accordingly if I order it. I doubt my Superflex rear coils will be up to the task.

I dont know the exact weight but we swapped from superflex 2.0s to OME 898s not cuz we had to (it didnt sag by just adding the bumper) but because we usually travel at full expedition weight on all of our trips since there is nothing in Florida so we go on a lot of long distance trips lol. That being said we love how it feels on the heavy 898's.

Interested. Would it also be possible to drill holes for the parking sensors or will I be losing them by switching to this bumper?

It looks like the Gobi ladder will fit with the rear tire swing out but not with the Dual jerry can swing out(not 100% sure). [MENTION=123371]fargo4x4[/MENTION], care to chime in on this.

We dont have photographic evidence unfortunately... We also had a gobi and we sold it so fast we didnt get a chance to take the pics you guys need (so thats my fault I just sold it as soon as i had a buyer, which was basically immediately and didnt think twice)

That being said if you look at our hilift the tip of the jack has a bolt that can be loosened or removed allowing you to flip that tip saving about 4+ inches. The hi lift may rub your shoulder if you for w.e reason refuse to open the swing arm.. before you climb, (i just grabbed it as a handle while climbing down lol) but it should fit fine with the gobi on while the swing arm is in the closed position. At least for us it did.

We painted the bumper ourselves we used 3 coats of rustoleum black sandable primer, followed by 3 coats of "storm gray metallic" by Dupli Color and then finished it all off with 3 coats of Clear Coat from Rustoleum

I see you put a question mark next to my name on the hitch. Is the drop down hitch removable? I don't tow very often so I really have no need for the clearance hitch. If it is removable will it provide the same clearance as the regular bumper (when removed)? I can't remember the fab shop, but I've seen rear bumpers where the hitch was bolted on, and was wondering if that was the same with this.

Hey [MENTION=123371]fargo4x4[/MENTION], when you speak about the drop hitch, how low does it actually go? From the pictures of your rig, it seems the high clearance that requires some rear frame mods makes the bumper relatively flush, thus providing a clear departure angle. The benefit for me is not needing to do any cutting of the frame, but would the drop hitch significantly or slightly reduce my clearance angle beyond what the stock SR5 bumper is rated for. Thank you!
