If you have a roof rack that extends far enough back. If you use a flood light in the bumper I'm sure it's very effective.

Where did you get that camo liner in the back that's awesomeSo here are some shots with the hatch open, keep in mind ours is the frankenstein prototype but essentially this is what we came up with. Which you all will receive something similar as well.. The step plate will bolt on to the same holes the old bumper did and rest on top of the SSOffroad bumper or can be fastened to it. Ours doesnt quite fit properly but it does the job. Yalls will look similar but fit better.

Haha look up "Canvasback Trunk Liner" on Amazon or Google and you will see they have a ton of color combinations and options. We like it mainly cuz the hair our dogs shed gets stuck to it making it easy to just lint roll or brush out.

Sounds like a great idea that way you can access the hatch area w/ out having to remove bikes and bike rack from regular hitch.

We can take a look at this. I'm just concerned it would be too much weight further out on the swing arm. What sort of additional weight are we talking here? You'd also still need a hitch extender to get it off the tire enough, I'd assume.

Also, here's the deal with the "Modular" approach. Yes you can swap accessories out on the driver side swingarm and even take your swingarms completely off if you wish, but you must first order both swingarms from the get go. You cant add an entire swingarm at a later time.
The spindle would have to already be welded into place for you to be able to just order the driver sideand pop it on later. Those spindles are precision machined and not cheap to just put on a bumper if the person never intends to use it. Plus it may look undesirable.

On another note for safety and I think this is a general question so please forgive my ignorance if this is not the right place for it; what are good items to get to "lock" the arms or items in place? I mean specifically a tire could use keyed bolts, gotcha. How about max trax or the hilift Jack? Is there something similar to a bike lock design, like a keyed metal fiber loop to strong around and lock the items down from being stolen? This is more of a tools of the trade question than specific to your bumpers I guess...
