Anybody have any better way of explaining how to install the spindles other than the instructions (or lack thereof)? The instructions provide no guidance how to install the swing arms what so ever. I can't for the life of me get the bottom seal to fit inside the swing arm below the large bearing to the point where I'm not sure if it goes the way I think it does. There's no way it'll fit short of taking a dremel and grinding it. I already broke one seal trying to get it to fit....

Those spindle seals are VERY difficult to get in but do go in. A press is the best way, but I think we've got a better solution to those seals. Send us an email or pm and I'll get it sent to you.

What did you use to extend the parking sensor harness?Finally installed my bumper with the help of my son. Took about 2-3 hrs excluding some custom trimming of some parts.
One thing that definitely should be noted is that if you will be using the gobi ladder than you will need to modify the trim plate. I found out when I went to close my lift gate and heard a loud pinging noise which was due to the gobi lower striking the trim panel.
If you opted for parking sensor holes then the wiring harness will need to be extended slightly. Not to difficult as it is only 4 wires if you cut the harness in the center.
Overall I am extremely satisfied with the bumper and can't wait to get it out on the Trails.

Four 14g wires of different colors. You'll need to cut the harness in the middle after removing the wiring cover/protector. Make sure to do them one at a time to avoid getting the wires mixed up.

Guys, I am a new Toyota user, actually getting my first T4R next week. I have ordered my icon suspension and gobi rack but waiting to find the right rear bumper.
I come from driving a Jeep JK for 4 years and run into very annoying issues with some bumpers where their handles will rattle or the spare tire will hit my rear windshield while driving on trails.
For those who already installed this rear bumper and tested on the trails....can you please advise if you have experienced any similar issues.

Nothing like that but going through bumps on trails the side ladder (removable) does bump the window and somewhat rattles (less annoying due to rubber stops) I'm thinking of making an extension so I can connect it to my roof rack and stabilize it.

Make sure yours isn't filled with powercoat in seal area. My passenger side was easy. Drivers side was not.

My passenger side was like that but my driver was warped (from the welding heat I think) so it took us some time of grinding and cutting the seal to fit in place. [MENTION=110183]SouthernSS[/MENTION] what's the part # make or dimensions of that seal ?

We've got a new oring we've just designed that will replace those terrible lower seals. I've also got a video explaining how to install the entire spindle assembly uploading right now.
We'll be sending these out with all new orders and also sending a set to each previous order too.
