Angled rear camera mount available!
Well, AMAZING news today from SSO. They DO have the newly-developed angled rear camera mount. Gwen, said they are now available for order. $20 plus shipping!!!
We will now have our camera lines back in the correct place!!!
Ordered mine today. Will have this week, but may not get to the install immediately. Won't have time during this week or this coming weekend.
I will report back with pictures after my install though as soon as I get it installed.

They Do
When I received mine it came with the new mount. They Laser cut a slot around the camera mount so you can bend it down and angle the camera as needed. It works slick.

Hey guys, I have the toytec trd pro 2" lift going on tomorrow. When I put the SSO rear bumper on it sagged my stock springs pretty heavy. I'm hoping the new kit will bring the back up again to a slight forward lean. I'm not a huge fan of the complete level stance.
Does anyone have the same setup? I wanted to see a photo before I put the time into replacing the rear springs to make sure I shouldn't have gotten the HD springs.
If not, I'll post pics of the results so others may learn from me... someone has to bite the bullet right?

One note... I didn't get the extra swing arm with the jerry cans......
Shoot, now I'm nervous... Well... the good thing is the rear springs are a cinch to switch out.
That extra swing arm has a little weight to it, but of course the bulk of the weight will be the actual bumper and your spare tire.
My buddy that's been running the bumper with both swing arms, is running the Icon 3" Overland Springs. His rear sits about as high as my Toytec 2" springs in the rear (my bumper isn't on yet).
Me personally, I'm swapping out my springs to the HD springs.
Toytec HD springs, Icon Overland springs, and others alike are meant to handle the extra weight of these bumpers and maintain your lift height with no sag. They level back out with the weight.
Now, I have also seen some guys run this bumper for a while with just regular lift springs. You can tell the difference, but its doesn't look ridiculous.
Also, keep in mind that when you load up stuff in the back it will sag a bit more with springs not made to accommodate for the extra weight.
There's not really a wrong or right here, I guess it depends on your preference, and what you do in your rig.

This is with the 2" toytec lift. As you can see, slight sag, the HD sprigs would be preferred.

I have a bit less weight on mine without the rack and extra arm. I think I may just stick with the regular springs and see what happens ... I am planning on putting the slim line bumper on later this summer so I may just get the look I'm after when that goes on.

Since we run pretty heavy with a trailer to boot I went with the 2899's and love them so far. Keeps a decent rake unloaded but levels out when outfitted. I have the Icon stage 2 kit so I can adjust the front as needed.
The 2898's will probably work best for the majority of folks.

I did OME 2895E rear springs. I have King coilovers front with 650lb springs and king shocks in rear. Have SSO Slimline up front with winch and SSO rear bumper with both swing arms, full skids and sliders. The 650lb springs up front eliminated the sag and went from 9 threads to 3 threads showing. Have 4+" of droop up front with only 3 threads showing. Didnt measure when 9 threads were showing, but had to be a lot less. Helped with nose dive also. Rear feels quite a bit stiffer unloaded, but on trips no sag with the OME 2895E.

Agree 2898's will work for most, I swapped mine out a while back for 899's when I replaced my suspension and added a permanent cargo storage solution.

I agree. It's more function vs fashion. I have the HD springs and my front sits slightly lower but under full load it sits more even.
