Spacer dimensions and specs for 3"

I know I'm going to get some crap about this but I'm wondering of anyone knows some sort of specs on spacers for a 3" lift, like height (I've read thickness x2 = lift amount)? And what size bolts should I get?

Sorry I'm a broke college kid and I do little to no wheeling I'm just look for lift and maybe any specs on a body lift?

My uncle ownes a shop where they do all sorts of metal works, I plan to have them make my sliders but I'd like everything lifted before that gets done.

So please I'd like specs on a 3 in spacer lift, FRONT AND BACK! And maybe a 2" body if possible.

I drive a 97 2wd runner stock, with little mods.

I'm not sure in the front, but in the back you should look into getting a set of LC coils. They wouldn't run much more than a set of spacers and would ride SO much better.

Well my uncle ownes the whole damn shop so it would probably cost me like an hour of sweeping the whole joint.:surfer:

You should be able to find a set for like $50 or so. And trust me, they'll ride SO much better than a set of spacers in the rear.

Definitely aluminum if you can get your hands on it. Lighter, stronger and no rust.

So would I get the coil and shock? I've tried to Learn the whole lift process but i never got it, so yeah, would I get the whole assy off of a 97 LC or?? And remember I'm not in Cali, I'm Texas so availability is different here/:

Just the coils. Regardless of which way you go, you'll need to get new shocks as the stock ones won't have enough travel in them to accommodate for the lift.

You will need to buy new shocks. They are different.
