spacer vs coilover

Anyone removed the front spacer and replaced it with a coilover? I would like another 1/2-1" of additional lift up front but I dont know if the geometry will allow it.

Hi and welcome to our forums! Your question may have been asked previously so doing a search may benifit you. In regards to your question 3" is max with a spacer and would prove the same with the coilover adjusted to max height.

Anything over 3in you run into alignment issues and would require aftermarket UCAs. So to answer your question, you will need more than just coilovers to get over 3". Have a great day!

We all know how forums works, new post attracts visitors and readers and so as sponsors and ads... imagine if a forum software is installed preventing post and replies to a known beaten topic and have a default reply "search" sounds boring hah?, because what else do we need to post/reply when everything has been discussed in this online T4R encyclopedia. Like a game replay on TV, we keep on commenting to a known bad play, while opening the next bottle..fun!

Reading pages of another 24" wheel thread, lifts and tires will continue to correct my farsightedness :naughty:

hmm, seems you cant even politely suggest the use of the search to newer members these days, or was it the left out welcome, eitherway, seems they got the info needed by reading or searching. :cheers:

Here is what I don't get, someone new or someone who has been around the forums asks a question, why does it seem like 9 out 10 times, the response is try the search function. WTF. I mean if your going to respond to the guys post help em out with something useful instead of being irritated that they asked a question in the first place. If it bothers you, ignore the damn post and move on. Isn't this the whole point of the forums, to communicate with other folks who share something in common.
 
everyone was new at one point so it has nothing to do with being irritated. its not like i said , use the frakken search! first off i provided a useful link while suggesting the search, its even in the sticky if someone takes the time to look. imo, theres nothing wrong with suggesting the use of it, theres alot of knowledge that can be gained by using it, sooner or later they will have to anyway. consider this, if more new members used it before asking a guestion, whether its been beaten to death or not, it may help limit the amount of threads on that topic, so some dont complain that 300 + threads is too much to search through. there also may be an increase of incorrect info with that many & make it even more confusing to sort out. it also might help let the forum keep some of the older but interesting/informative ones instead of deleting them for what ever reason.
