Spacers?

One thing that has always annoyed me about my 4th gen 4runner is the wheel offset; fact that the wheels don't come all the way out to the edge of the wheel wells. I am considering buying some spacers to fix this and was wondering if a)anyone here had already done so, and b) what size spacers did you get.

all I found were posts on body spacers for lift kits. i'm interested in wheel spacers. link?
