spare tire carrier question.

Was looking at this .....
Fold Down Tire Carrier PREMIUM MODEL | CBI Offroad Fab

Does anyone run this CBI product ? Or similar? If so can anyone share pics and little review pros and cons. Is it worth it for someone who is dd and just wants a spare tire for emergency in case you get a flat while driving ? Is it worth it ? Is bumler with carrier more better? What about weight wise ? And what rear coils do you have with your bumper or hitch carrier.

I have their rear hybrid bumper and built a rear swing-out on their platform. With that I have the OME 891 coils. The coils hold up fine for that weight, even better when the truck is loaded down.

CBI makes ridiculously awesome stuff and their quality is worth paying for.

All that to say this about that particular product. It will be far inferior to a legitimate swing out. The hitch, no matter how well it is built, will not keep that wheel and tire from pulling side to side and front to back. Is it safe...sure, but you will feel the movement and if you are anything like me you will be unsettled by it.

I only have experience with a product like this because I had a buddy run a similar setup...he sold after one trip.
