Spare tire carriers on 1st gens

Hey all, I have a smitty built rear tube bumper on my 87 runner. Could any body post up some pics for me to work off of? My plan is to make a swing out style spare tire carrier on my bumper. The mounting brackets will have to be on the sides out of the way for the tailgate to still be able to drop.

For starters, you're going to have to connect the upper and lower tubes together at each end to strenghten it up. Or cut the one hinge side off and use the hinge tube to link them. That "hinge" is actually a small trailer axle you can get a number of places.
