spare tire issues

I threw on some 265/75/16 studded pro comp mud terrains on my 01 and they look and work great. Handle well on dry pavement and not as loud as I expected.

Here's the question. Stock tire size is 265/70/16... I now have 265/75/16 for summer and winter tires (studded and unstudded mudders)... will a 265/75/16 fit under my rig as a spare or am i hooped?

I have read that the 265/75 will still fit up in the stock location. Being that you have M/Ts that may change things, but I think you will still be ok. You may have to let 10lbs of air out or so to get it to squeeze up in there but it should work. Try it out and let us know for sure.

Maybe someone with a 3rd gen will chime in but if that fails once you get out of that beautiful snow (great pic) try it Next time you're doing an oil change budget a few extra minutes.
