Spark Knock?

I have a 04 SE and it has about 25k on it. I am hearing kind of a spark knock when I excelerate. I have tried high octane gas and it still seems to be there. Any suggestions?

Is it more of a ticking noise? If so, that seems to be normal for a lot of toyota motors and from what I've heard there is nothing to worry about.

Better check it with dealer. It's should be under warranty.

I have an 05 with 2500miles and i hear the same thing. It is very soft and i can only hear it when i have the windows down and pass another car or a wall of some kind. I was also wondering if I should get this checked out or not worry about it.

I guess you can here is best when you excelerate. I do hear the ticking noise. I was just wondering if anyone else heard it too.

Yeah I have it to, when I'm speeding up next to a wall I can here a ticking sound on my 03. I would say its normal, not a loud tick but you can hear it.
